Yes, still here though I do not post a lot I have been reading many blogs and learning new things. I have started Weight Watchers online and hope to do well on it. It seems like everyone starts there life changes in January but my start is not the typical one that you start but it fizzles by the end of the month. I've put it off long enough and if I don't do this now, it will never be done. My health issues will get worse and I hate to think of what will happen to me. I'm not one to post my weight etc on here but wanted to at least mention my start on this journey. I'm embarrassed at how far I have let myself go and wish I could post all the details like others do but shame keeps me from doing so. It begins now and at least I have my mom doing the same thing with me and my family backs me up with it so that is a plus on my side. Take care all.

A Christmas gone by...

Seems so long ago we lived in this house and had all these keepsakes and memories of many a holiday. I can look at some of these pics and see things I had and cherished. Yes, it has made me sad and grumpy this Christmas but I am forever grateful that I have my family this Christmas. I guess it is time to make more memories although new they will be with me forever.

Almost a year has passed since the fire but it feels just like yesterday is that weird? I don't know I just feel raw still and I keep trying to make plans to do fun lil things like make cookies and watch Christmas movies but no matter what I end up at the same place lol. Well I have made out my Christmas cards and my tree is up and yes there are some lights up outside lol. Next week I have plans to make cookies with friends and family and learn how to make fudge..should be interesting. I hope all of you are having a great Christmas time. Take care

I DON'T HAVE A TITLE

Feeling brain dead but wanted to post anyway lol. Also, feeling blahhh for a month or so now. Feel like something is missing but not sure what it is. Yesterday was the 11 th anniversary of my dads death. He was only 47 and some young guy in a red mustang took his life. We weren't that close but I miss him. He wasn't the greatest of men..but I miss him. I miss my family. Some relatives close to me have decided over the past five or so years that we shouldn't do the holidays. Now my family has always been close and done things and gotten together. Yes, when I was younger I loved the gifts the most lets face it lol. Now that I am older and have a child of my own I long to make more memories with her and for her to think back and remember family gatherings. Well this excludes a part of my family and it is just not the same. Something low key and nice for thanksgiving is all I wanted but I guess my low key is going to be just the three of us. I should be use to it but ever since the fire I hold my family and my memories closer to my heart and it hurts more. Like Forest Gump said "that's all I got to say about that" lol. Getting Back to Normal

Ok well hello all. This is the second attempt at posting this week. The first time I tried frustrated me because I had typed it all and looked over it and was going to post and it disappeared lol. It wasn't so funny when it happened but I'm going to give it another try now that I'm not angry lol.

Well I am going to try to make this short because I am eager to get past this in my blog. I stayed with my friend and my daughter and hubby stayed with his brothers family. A house with seven children in it lol.. yes I said seven. My one child being there made it eight kids and three adults in the house. Ahhhh I am so glad I chose to stay with a friend because I don't think I could of dealt with the noise. My hat is off to my sister in law because that is alot of work phheww just thinking about it tires me lol. We were homeless for about a month. I happened to fall into getting a place that a friend of mine was moving out of. There was alot of work to be done as we were moving things in. Hectic is an understatement and we were very impatient. Thank goodness we finally got in and settled and thanks to having renters insurance we were able to have furniture etc. It was alot of work but for sure was worth it. I can't wait to have Christmas here. We had Easter dinner here and a couple of bbqs. It is just nice to have a place that is your own. The saying you don't miss it until you don't have it is very true.

So now I am settled and it is my daughters bday as well as mine and my anniversary this month. She is a senior this year and I know that I am going to be crazy busy with things but I welcome it. I craved normalcy for so long that now that I have it I take time to look around and enjoy life, even the crazy times lol.

I would like to change this blog but I don't remember how to and it looks like it has changed since I changed it the last time.. OH well all in good time.

Hey all it has been a long time. It hasn't been easy putting my life back together so please excuse my lack in posting lol.
I think I left off where I had just been told my house was in flames and could not be salvaged. By the time I took a shower etc and went down to look at my home they were demolishing it because it could of fell on the neighboring houses. It was still smoldering a bit. I don't know how to describe it. It was like I was watching someone elses life because how could this be happening to me. My mind was on my daughter who didn't know yet that this happened and having a fun weekend with her church friends. How was I going to tell her everything was gone. I was heartbroken thinking about telling her that her cat had not made it and all that she knew and had was gone. I cried knowing that I had to be the strong one and couldn't break down because who else would hold us together after this. All day long I cried but I knew when my daughter got back it would have to stop lol. When we told her she was so sad it broke my heart. She asked me where would we live and what do I do now. I told her we will stay with family and friend and we will do our best to have our own place and be together as soon as possible. Thank god we had renters insurance and wonderful family and friends. I stayed with a friend and my husband and daughter stayed with family. To say it was hard to be apart is an understatement lol. Well that's enough for now. I get all teary eyed every time I think about this but it is good to get it out. Take care all.

YES IM ALIVE TAKES A WHOLE NEW MEANING

Hello all I just logged in and made my way here and sat and read my last entry. Life was so simple then but it didn't seem like it at the time. A few weeks ago I was over visiting a friend for the weekend. It was suppose to be a overnight thing but we had so much fun I decided to stay another night. On that Sunday morning we stayed up until five am only to hear my phone go off at six am. I thought I was dreaming and tried to fall back to sleep. It rang again so I finally got up and checked my voicemail.

The first message was from the sheriff asking me to call him and the next was from my sister in law in tears asking for me to call her. All I could think of was something happened to my husband or daughter. Hubby was delivering papers and my daughter was in the city at a church weekend function. My phones signal sucked but I attempted to call my sister in law. It was valentines day an I had planned on going home and spending the day with my family but my sister in law told me through tears that it was gone. I asked what was gone,, she said the house an I asked who's house... she said your house. The connection was lost and I freaked out.. I went into shock. I later found out that if I had been there I wouldn't of made it out. For some weird reason we were all out at six am on a Sunday. Thank god

Unfortunately our amazon bird and beloved mamma cat along with two hamsters from school did not get so lucky. I will continue this story which has become my life soon. Take care all and hold onto the ones you love because you never know.

Hi all. So sorry I haven't been on in a long time. I don't know I think this weather is effecting me still. My days all meld into each other and I find myself with not much to say lol. School is still a big struggle with my daughter as she is failing most of her subjects. I called and now have a plan in place for her to get some tutoring and less work on her plate for the upcoming semester. The in laws are still in limbo as to what they are doing. I don't think they will rebuild because it will cost more then they have and of course taxes will skyrocket. My friend had her surgery and is doing better so far. Other then that all is pretty slow and uneventful. I hope to be back more often..take care.

Long Time No Blog

Hey all. Hope everyone is doing good and making it through this super cold snap we are having ..brrrr. I know I have been gone since Christmas and I'm sorry about that but I was in a bit of a funk. It always happens to me soon after the holiday hoopla has ended. I was tired and worn out and a bit bummed that it was all over lol. Oh well, I'm back and hope to post more in the new year. Happy belated New Year everyone lol.

A couple of weeks ago my in laws house burned down. My father in law was not home and my mil got out just in time. They don't live too far from us and I didn't even hear an engine or siren that morning. We are all shocked and saddened. This was the house my husband grew up in and his parents are in there 70's and it's a shame that they had this happen to them. I lost my home when I was 8 years old and know how it feels to loose everything. Well I'm not sure what they are going to do but will keep you all updated when I do. We had a problem with our water pressure this past weekend and had very little water. It's so cold here and we had to have the water dripping as we are prone to frozen pipes in this house. Hubby and I decided that we are going to move this spring/summer as this house will never get worked on like it should and it is owned by my brother in law. So after living here eight years we will move on. Easier said then done and it will be a true adventure for sure.

We had a good Christmas and the picture above is of my daughter and her new cousin on Christmas Eve. Ok I will update more later..stay warm out there.

Hi all. Hope everyone is warm and cozy at home. It has been crazy here with high winds and tons of snow for the past few days. Friday and today my daughter had snow days. She goes back for one day then it is vacation time..woohooo lol. Two different storms have passed through here since Friday. It's so crazy that my hubby couldn't even deliver the newspaper last night. Tons of vehicles stuck in ditches. Even the plows themselves were in ditches. I just hope that Christmas is not going to be bad as we have a 45 minute drive ahead of us. Fun times lol. Oh and my husbands windshield wiper broke lol. Perfect timing I guess lol. We also need to get new tires on my car as it isn't too good in the snow. Gotta love winter lol.

I'm all done with my Christmas shopping thank goodness and we have made the cookies. The party was nice and we all chatted and baked and had some wine lol. My friend that was in the hospital is doing better. There are things she still has to follow up on that will suck but at least she is healthy enough to enjoy the holidays. We are going to bingo tomorrow and exchanging gifts so that will be a fun outing. I'm crossing my fingers that the snow will stay away as I drive there and back lol. Christmas Countdown

Hey all. Hope everyone is doing well and staying sane from all the running around they are doing with the holidays approaching so quickly. I can't believe there is only nine days left. This month has flown by lol. Good news is I am about done with my Christmas shopping and about done sending out my cards..woohoo. Just have to get some stocking stuffers and wait for my shipments to come in and wrap them all up.

The other day I got a call from a good friend of mine and she was admitted into the hospital with a terrible kidney infection and they spotted a growth on her ovary. All that and she is also having problems with her colen. She is a breast cancer survivor and when I heard she had a growth I thought the worst. Well it turns out that is a cyst they think and are going to give her medication to shrink it after she recovers from her infection. They told her if she would of come in any later she might of had to get the kidney removed so I am very thankful for the good news even though she has had a bad time of it. I speak with her everyday and she seems to be improving and they may let her go home in a few days..woohoo :). So if you can please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

This Saturday another friend of mine is having a cookie exchange party. I went to one last year at another friends house and it was crazy. Tons of people and tons of cookies lol. I know this one will be smaller but I will still make the only cookie I am good at making....chocolate chip LOL. Ok well I'm going to head out now. Take care and have a good week. Hey all. Hope everyone is doing good. I'm doing fine. Just trying to get more in the holiday spirit of things. I still haven't finished decorating the house but we do have the tree and lights up.

Thank you all for the sweet comments on the baby. She is a cutie and a welcomed edition to this already big family lol. Maybe, just maybe I will get to meet the other new edition come Christmas time.

About three years or so back we had a bit of a family falling out. My mother was angry, I was angry and her husband was as well. None of it was my fault but I stuck my two cents in and was punished for that fact. My mother in turn stopped having any holiday meals or get togethers for anything. My step father stopped speaking to me and it was a big slap in the face. Birthdays and holidays came and went and we didn't see each other at all. I was so sad for the holidays to come. When my daughter has her dance recitals we would all gather and go see her do her thing but I wasn't spoken to or sat by. Well my mom did but my step dad hadn't spoken to me in years up until last June. After last June he emailed me and wanted to let it all go as we weren't getting any younger. All this caused alot of rifts through our family and we haven't had a Christmas all together in three years. I get sent Christmas cards from my mom with a check inside. The gift or money doesn't mean anything to me but being together with each other is what matters. She still isn't having us over during these occasions but at least we get along and can all be nice etc. This Christmas we are having some relatives come out for a visit and I hope to see us all together in one room. That is top on my Christmas wish list. You never know when your time will come..spend that time with loved ones. Give them big hugs and let them know you love them. Time is short and building those memories is priceless.

I thought this picture was so funny. She loves to put her hands all over her face when she sleeps lol. We had fun yesterday though it was very crowded. It was like a belated Thanksgiving dinner and a welcome baby to the family dinner hehe. I gave her a few outfits for her but her main gift a crochet blanket that is still being made. I'm thinking this blanket is going to be huge as my friend made it a bit long and had to go on from there lol. Oh well she can use it for years and years. I made a pork loin with all the fixings today. It was yummy and I got rave reviews woohoo lol. I like to cook but only when I'm in the mood to you know how that goes. Before I start I just want to thank Sonya for the tag. I've been going to a few tag blogs and snatching all the good stuff..so thanks again everyone lol. Well, the snow has hit my area. I think we got like half a foot out there. It's freezing brrrrrrrrrrrr. All this week and some of last the snow has hit all around us and I was thank full for that lol. We were due to get it sooner or later. I don't like driving in the snow or walking in it. My husband doesn't either and wants to move to somewhere warm but I don't want to leave my family and friends here. No matter where you live you have to live with some weather condition that you don't like so we have to grin and bear it lol.

This Sunday we are suppose to go over my brother in laws and have a belated turkey dinner and meet the new addition. I must remember to bring my camera so I can post some pictures of her on here. My sister in law had a c section last Friday and she is already going out and doing things. I think that is crazy but she is on her 7 th child so I guess she is a pro at what her body can handle. My New Second Cousin Camden and Cyber Monday Madness

Hey all. Hope everyone is having a good week so far. We are doing ok here. We have been having some snow fun...not. It's cooooold outside lol. The picture above is of my cousin Camden. He is a cutie for sure. I diapered his dad as an infant so now I am feeling a bit oooooooold lol. I have always felt and been told I am more like an aunt to him so I guess that makes me a great aunt now LOL. I hope to get a picture of my new niece this week and can post that also. I also hope to meet Camden around Christmas as they live in Las Vegas and that is a bit far to go lol. The family doesn't seem to get together like they use to. I miss the old days lol.

Well I made it through Cyber Monday hehe. It was fun and I spend most of my time online browsing and purchasing. I helped a friend of mine get a nintendo ds for her daughters birthday that is 10 days before Christmas. Looking for just the right deal is fun but after awhile it can drive you insane lol. It seemed like everyone had some sort of sale going on. I was everywhere and my computer would freeze up here and there grrrr. So in the end I had ordered gifts from about four places. I'm not done yet and have to place an order next week. Also, next Friday I am the driver and my friend is the runner lol. No we are not robbing a bank lol. We are going to the mall..guess that does feel like we are being robbed LOL. Okok I am goofy this evening. Well I make sure she doesn't walk a mile to park and she helps me out by picking up a few things for me.. it works out lol.

Not Such a Boring Week

Hey all. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had ours here at home and all was good except for some spilt turkey juice which started our oven smoking lol..cough cough. I did go to bingo this week and won wooohoo. Not alot but hey I broke my streak of loosing lol. I was in a hurry going home as I had to go to the bathroom lol. Doing the pee dance in my car seat I drove home and passed by a trooper sitting on the side of the road. No, I wasn't speeding because I had to go..so I figured I was all good and they didn't have a reason to pull me over. Well, I was wrong. Ya, he pulled me over and all the sudden the feeling of having to go went away lol. Keep in mind it was still Thanksgiving and I get pulled over grrrr. He asked me if I knew why I was pulled over and I said no of course I don't lol. I guess one of my tail lights was out. Come on now I get pulled over on Thanksgiving for a tail light??????? It seemed like forever while he went back to his car to run my info through the system. Hey, I could be a serial killer or have a warrant out for selling drugs right lol. The longer I sat there ON THANKSGIVING the more I had a feeling of dread. He comes back with a ticket in his hand. Arggggghhhhh, he explains that all I have to do is get it fixed blah blah blah and charges will get dropped. He left and I said under my breath,,, Happy Thanksgiving. On the way home tons of things went through my mind as why he gave me a ticket for such a little thing on a holiday. Hmmmm maybe he was mad having to work on a holiday or maybe his turkey was too dry. Oh maybe since it was the end of the month he still had to find some victims to fill up his quota. Anyway, that was just part of my week lol.

A few days before Thanksgiving I went to the craft store for some yarn with my friend so she could make the baby blankets for the new babies that have come this month. Yes on Friday my sister in law gave birth via c section to a baby girl. Her name is AnnaLisa I believe. I haven't heard much as they are a big family and have allot going on. She has a head full of hair which is unusual because all of her other 6 were bald at birth lol. So anyway, the other day we were coming from the store and going to my friends parents house to pick up some paper work she needed. When all the sudden the car in front of me went to the other lane and it is then that I saw a big huge dead dear in the middle of the road. It happened so quick that I could not stop or avoid it. Bump,,,,bump. Uhhhhh huh ok that was scary and I am freaking out all the way to her parents house. She on the other hand is cracking up. I have a used saturn ls that I havn't finished paying for yet and I have just run over a dead deer...grrr. Thank goodness it didn't damage the car phhhewwww that was scary.

I didn't go out on black Friday because I figured that I had enough drama for the week lol. However, I did go online and get some deals. This is how I shop for most of my Christmas list and birthdays etc. I'm not a fan of going in stores and dealing with the traffic and weather issues lol. Today I have spend allot of time on here changing things around and I'm still not sure I like it lol. Oh well it will do for now. I am trying a tag that D from Ds designs made for me..thanks again D :). Hope it works lol. Have a great rest of the week all.

Happy Thanksgiving all. This is the second time I have tried to post this lol. I guess it had to happen sooner or later right lol. We are staying home this holiday. The smell of turkey in the air. Hi all. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was a little bit of good a little not so good lol. First off I want to thank Alice for the Marie Antoinette award. It is my first ever award woohoo. Thank you so much Alice :). I will be posting some awards at the end of my post as well. It's hard to pick them as alot of you have them already lol. So if you get one from me and you already have it I am sorry and you don't have to pass it on as I know you have already done so lol.

Some what of an update on my brother. Looks like some toxins in his liver was causing the breaking out. He is not a drinker or anything like that so they are not sure why it happened. The lovely insurance he has is not covering his stay at the hospital which is around seven thousand dollars. Yeah real nice insurance place grrr. On Tuesday he will be going back to work so I hope all goes well and he can have some normalcy.

Of course the weekend wouldn't be complete without a bingo loss. Yeaapppp went to bingo and didn't win..shock of all shocks lol. Spent the day today watching the Buffalo Bills kick some butt wooohoooooo. It's about time they won a game. Even though they won and hubby wasn't grumpy he chose to drive me nuts and start arguments. Sometimes I wonder why were are still married lol. I finally got some peace when he went to bed, finished the dishes and came on here to unwind.

Looks like we may just spend Thanksgiving just us three here this year. We were going to go to my sister and brother in laws then we all got invited to another sister in laws. I have met her twice and have never met her husbund. I don't know about you all but I much rather spend my day at home and relaxed then go to someones house I don't know and play nice lol. Oh well, there is always Christmas. I know for sure where I am going then hehe. Ok this is long enough lol .. have a good week all :)

Hi all. Thank goodness it is Friday lol. Yes, I know it's early but it is still Friday here hehe. My brother came home on Tuesday and they said he was good to go. He had an allergic reaction to the medicine for the initial breakout of hives. They never figured out what he was breaking out from. I don't know, it is still a bit confuseing lol. I'm going to call my mother today to see how it is all going. I know they were talking about him going back to work sometime this week.

My daughter is doing good. She was a bit upset and needed mom to cry on when she found out one of her friends might be moving and changing schools. It is up in the air and you know teens...everything is drama drama drama lol. I hope she doesn't move for all her friends sakes. They find out today for sure so we shall see. She cheered up a bit when her ipod touch came in the mail today. We got it from ebay because I would never pay full price lol. Actually, it was bought with her birthday money with a little extra chore money included. She loves it and so the texting is long forgotten lol. Oh, and it is something I have to take away when she is not listening etc... hey you have to have some leverage right lol.

Ok well I am off to go pay some bills online. Oh what fun it is to watch your money come and go lol....Not. Take care

Hiya all. Hope everyone is doing well. We are all doing good here. A relaxing and boring Sunday is nothing to complain about right lol. I tried calling my Mom and only got to talk to her for a few minutes. My brother is still in the hospital and they are running around like crazy getting him things and visiting him. Well, I guess there is no real answer as to what for sure is wrong with him. Come on, the kid is in his twenties and he is sick for a week now..help the poor kid out!! I wish there was something that I could do but there really isn't. He is a super genius when it comes to computers and he really is doing good as far as his job etc. I just hope his health gets better asap so he can enjoy the holiday season. Whatever it is I hope it turns out not to be something serious. I'm going to call her in the morning and hope to hear good news. Ok well I will post if I find anything out. Ya, I Know

Hi all. I know, I know, I havn't been on much this week. I just was at a loss for words lol. Writers block perhaps?? Not that I have tons of readers but I try to make at least three posts or more per week. Matter a fact I lost a reader when I took my little vacation of sorts.. oh well what can you do?

Not much going on this week ... well I guess that is a fib lol. I have a new cousin, a baby boy. My brother has been in and out of the hospital with some sort of rash and he was disoriented. Tons of tests later, and nothing solid until today. I just received a short email from my mom saying he was in the hospital under observation. It seems he is coming off some staroids he was on for allergies. He had a bad reaction to them. Well at least they know now and I hope he can get better asap. He missed work all week but at least his boss is understanding and told him he need not worry about still having his job when he came back.

I have started shopping online for Christmas. I try to avoid crowds and stores and plus I have a hard time getting around. Looking forward to Thanksgiving of course. We are going to my brother in laws for dinner. They have six kids with one due the day after Thanksgiving..yikes. I don't know how they do it without going insane lol. Saturday Late Post

Hey all. Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. We are doing good here. My husband had Friday off so after school we went to run some errands together. Now this doesn't happen too often. Either my hubby goes to the store by himself or with our daughter or her and I go. It was a nice change and we got through it lol. We went to Aldis and bulked up on lots of things since we don't make it there too often. I wish we had one closer but what can you do lol. After, we went to target to get my husband the things he needed for the winter weather that is coming. He delivers newspapers and mail so he is in the elements alot. I had to get this video game that is somewhat new so we ended up going to best buy for that. One last stop to pick up dinner at Outback and we started home. It was a long day but a good one. Now I have so much stuff I can't fit it all in so needless to say I have to clean out my kitchen and organize lol. Tomorrow I am planning on making pigs in the blanket or some call it stuffed cabbages. Yummy we love these, well everyone but my picky husband. So that is all we have planned for the rest of the weekend. That and watching the football game and maybe a rented movie.

We sat down with D my daughter to give her the list of punishments she is getting for the smoking incident. She lost her texting for a long time and won't be going to the concert she has been wanting to go to in December. There are a few other things but the texting is the worse for her lol. She cried, of course I felt bad but I told her that maybe next time she is thinking of doing something she knows is not right she will think back and not want to get punished like this again. So after some more talk and some hugs we got on with our day and she seems like she is coming to terms with the situation.

The picture above is of her and her cousin who goes to the same school and is the same age. They were born within a week of each other. Since then, five other cousins have joined in and the sixth is on its way come the end of November. I also have a second cousin that will be coming sometime near veterans day. I love babies and wish I could of had more but that was not the plan for me I guess. The other day I did some online baby shopping and can't wait to see these cuties come along.

Had a Nice Halloween and Busted!!!

Well, we had a nice Halloween. Didn't get many trick or treaters so I am told. Needless to say we still have candy left over ..blachh. I didn't win at bingo much to my surprised haha. Had a nice evening hanging out with a couple of friends of mine anyway. My daughter spent the night over her cousins house so I didn't have to be home at any particular time lol.

Right now my husband is out voting. I have not decided if I am going or not. I haven't been feeling that great so it will be a wait and see how long the line is lol.

The picture up above is of my sweet daughter years ago and our dog who was a puppy and so clean I have never gotten her that sparkly since I've had her lol. Anyway, when I look at that picture and ones of her when she was a baby I tear up. Yesterday she was busted smoking outside our house waiting for the bus. I don't think she thought I would peek out but I did. I stood there for a good half a minute watching puffs of smoke like a train float in the air near her. Not believing what I was seeing. This after all was my child who put others down for smoking and drinking. Even adults, she would chastise for drinking a beer. I cannot tell you how many times she has given her dad the evil eye when he said he had a beer out with friends at golf. We are not even allowed to have beer in our fridge or she freaks out. So tell me this, why oh why has she done this???? I'm eaten up inside and feel like such a bad parent. Well, we had a discussion with her last night and will let her soak in the thought of what kind of punishment she will get come Friday. The hammer is going to come down hard and swift and she will hate us for awhile. I am not looking forward to it but what can I do??

I need a beer and a cig LOL. Ok ok that won't solve a thing but I still want it. Oh, and we had a lice scare as a friend of mines daughter got it the other day. So far so good as we don't have it. Anything else want to happen this week??lol

Hey all. Happy Halloween! I hope everyone is having a good day. We are doing ok here. I'm posting an old picture of my daughter and her cousin a few years back on Halloween. They looked so cute..I miss those days. Now she doesn't know what she will be until that night lol. She is going to be pink lol don't ask me. I have to make a last minute run to the store to get some pink eye shadow and lipstick. Ya, fun times lol. After running my errands I will be going over my friends house and then off to bingo lol. I have never gone there on Halloween so this should be interesting. Hubby will be left to deal with the trick or treaters haha. Ok all have a safe fun night.

A Kitty Update

Hey all. Well last night I was up late as usual and I heard some meowing coming from outside. My Star kitty had come back home after almost three weeks. I was shocked to see her and hear her meowing so loudly is very unlike her. So, I went out and fed her and she didn't want to eat but needed lovies and such lol. She did eat but when I went inside she kept meowing. When I told my daughter this morning she was so happy she ran out with her pj's on to go visit her before getting ready for school lol. She fed her and gave her lots of love. We are all very happy to see her back yay :). Ok I will post more later. take care

An Ok Weekend

Hey all. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was ok. We hung out at home most of the time. I did go to bingo Saturday night but that is about it. We caught up on some cleaning and laundry. I know how exciting lol. My daughter still hasn't figured what she wants to be or do on Halloween. I mostly stay home and give out treats but a friend of mine wants go out to Halloween bingo. So we shall see what happens.

My cat Felix is almost back to normal. His wound is very small and I hope to not have to see any of it soon lol. My problem is much better too so that is something to be thankfull for lol.

We played guitar hero this weekend lol. It is one of our favorite things to do. We also have sing star and like to play that at times too. Hey, it keeps us entertained right lol. What is sad is that my daughter is better at the guitar then any of us lol.

Well tommorow I'm going out to my friends house and we're going to make dinner and watch a scary movie. Should be fun if all goes as planned lol. I say that because alot of times when we plan something, weird things happen. I tell her we have the Thelma and Louise syndrome lol. Like one day we were going to the flea market and ended up in a ditch with snow up to our waists lol. Ya, fun wow lol. Another time we ended up shopping and came out to a flat tire. Took hours to get help and back home. The list goes on and on lol.

I'm Baaaaaaack

Hi all. I wasn't gone long but it is still good to be back. Brrrr it is cold outside lol. Yesterday I was running errands and it started hailing. There was snow falling near by but not in the town I live in but still. Saying snow is a curse word in my house lol. Too soon for snow wahhhhhhhhh lol.

This is a picture of my daughter D and her best friend R. They have been best buds since pre school. All the pictures look like this one. How annoying lol. I am trying to track down some better ones from some of her friends that were there. We shall see :) It's a cute picture but I would of liked to have one of her dress etc. Oh well.

I went to the doctor yesterday. Got the run around about the time I had to be there. They tend to do that there and it is ANNOYING. So, I got there earlier like they wanted me to and proceeded to wait for twenty minutes. I had my daughter with me as I had to take her to dance after my appointment. I was crossing my fingers that I would be out of there on time. A women came in and started crying and couldn't stop. I felt bad for her and tried not to look over too often. My daughter was in another world and didn't even notice. Turns out she was having anxiety attacks. Felt so bad for her. Anyway, I went in and told the doctor what was up. Lets just say the result included some scissors and gause and tape that wouldn't cooperate at the time. It was very comical but I didn't notice to much since I was the one bleeding lol. I feel much better now and am on antibiotics. Being sore is much easier then being in the pain I was in for over a week so whoooohooo lol.

Ok so enough of that. Not much else going on except some drama my best friend is going through that I cannot get into details with. Lets just say what comes around, goes around and this someone messing with her will get theres in the end!!!!! Alrighty then lol I will end this now. A Quickie

Well, I haven't been feeling well for about a week now and it hasn't gotten better so I fizzled and have been sleeping alot and just not feeling like doing much. Another Thing Lost!!!!!!!!

Hi all. Isn't life grand. I went with hubby on Friday to play at the casino a little bit. Broke even so I guess that was good lol. Only thing is I lost my pretty pink cell phone grrrrrr!!! Sure, I'd prefer a purple one but they don't have any I like in purple lol. We searched everywhere for it and poof ...gone. No one turned it in so we left. I waited until later today to call the phone company to tell them. Wishing that someone would call and tell me it was found lol. Keep in mind we cancelled our land line because we were getting harassed so much. So each of us have our own cell. All of them insured because both hubby and D have lost or broken phones in the past. Never, I mean never have I broke or lost a phone. ... until now lol. When I first signed up for insurance I didn't know that you had to pay a deductible. So when I had to have my daughters phone replaced I was shocked. A service fee each month plus a fifty dollar deductible ..yuck. She was able to get and upgrade and new phone.. lucky duck. Me, ohhh I wasn't so lucky. I get a refurbished one ..fun fricking wow. I looked on the site and they don't even sell them there. Great I get someones used phone for the same price as others are getting new ones. ..bull crap if you ask me. I will make sure when it is time to renew that I look at other places lol. Ok rant over.

My daughter had her homecoming dance tonight. I sent my camera with her and told her to take good pictures. Well, I didn't even get a pic of her in her dress fully. Just heads and some chest.. come on I paid money for your dress and all I get is head shots???lol Ok now my rant is for sure over. Lets just say it's been an interesting weekend so far. Please, please let Sunday go better lol. Night all.

Not a Winner and Missing Kitty

Hi all. Hope everyone had a good hump day. As for me, ehh it was ok. I went to bingo with one of my friends this afternoon and of course came close but didn't win ..grrrrrrr. So I came home and made chicken and dumplings for dinner. I just started making this dish last year and I love it.It does take time and my hands always cramp up bad while I peel and chop veggies etc. This is something my grandma would make and it was so good I never thought I would be able to make it as good. I have to say though that it's darn close.so there I'm tooting my own horn LOL.

On another subject, my kitty Felix is doing well though he doesn't like the cleaning and creme lol. He does love his twice a day treat of chicken or ham with a pill inside hehe. His wound is looking much better and all is well so that eases my mind.

Above is a picture of my cat Star. She has mainly been an outside cat because she thinks our beds are her litter box. Ya fun wow. I have tried many times to have her inside but each time she left us gifts on our blankets and pillows..ewwwww. Well, she has been missing for about a week now. Not sure what has happened and it has happened before and she has shown up but I am thinking this time we won't be so lucky. She was a sweetie and we loved her no matter if she was outside or not. I hope she shows back up but I am not going to hold my breath.

This week is homecoming week for my daughter and yes we are doing the last minute thing to get her ready for it. I did buy her a couple dresses for this year. She tells me one is too short now and one is too long lol. Come on now I tried to be ahead of the game and well that didn't pan out lol. Lots of other things going on the same day but I will get into that later. This has become too long so I will close for now. Take care

Hey all, this is the second time I am trying this. Not sure why but all the settings I had earlier did not set. I hope when I save this to the blog it will come out right lol.

Well, I just got home from my friends house. I had gone over earlier and we had made dinner and rented movies. In between I took and picked up my daughter at dance. We made tacos and rented Murder Inc. and Love Guru. The first movie was really weird and we didn't watch but a half hour of it before we put in the next one lol. I must like stupid humor movies because the Love Guru cracked me up lol.

I wanted to thank Sugar for the tag I snagged from her blog. This is my first time useing a tag and I hope it works out so thanks again :). Well it's time to hit save and hope for the best. Oh and there is ice cream calling my name and blogs to read lol. Take care

Kitty ER

Hi all. Well today was more eventfull then I thought it would be lol. My husbund went outside to mow the lawn and discovered that our kitty Felix had a large round fleshy spot below the side of his neck. Not so nice to look at so I proceeded to call my vet who told me to go somewhere else..nice huh. Anyway, after calling three places I was told I could bring him into a vet not so close to me for critical care. Now we all know they charge and arm and a leg for these places but what could I do. So we all showered and left with him wrapped in a blankie looking like a baby lol. He is a very easy going cat and he was not so happy in the car but didn't mind the vets office at all lol. The vet said it looked like a ruptured cyst. None of us seen a cyst and would of taken him in if we did. So he is inside now and on antibiotics and a wound cleaner and creme. I am not looking forward to doing this as I know I will get growled at lol. He is suppose to be on all this for a couple weeks and I need to take him into our vets office for a follow up after the two weeks. Sigh, almost two hundred dollars later we walked out and headed to Wendy's for some chicken nuggets to hide his first pill in lol. He took it happily and now he is resting in the chair next to me sleeping. There was some problems with my other cat as he was not in the mood to be bothered but we will get through it as long as he gets better. Oh ya and it is suppose to take like two months to heal completely..fun wow.

So there went the Halloween decorating etc lol. I am glad it is over and done with and we know he is alright. The picture I posted is of Felix and D. It is an old one but one of my favorites. Ok well I'm gonna go read some blogs and relax some. Take care :)

Some Progress!!!!!

Hey all. Hope everyone is doing well. We had an ok Sunday. Spent all day with my daughter and we fiddled on the computer trying to figure out how to make my blog look all pretty like lol. She knows how to do some things that I don't so I asked for her help lol pathetic I know lol. She told me in the end that she didn't really help much but I think she did since my blog is looking much nicer now. Maybe I just needed back up on some of my thinking on how to do it lol. There are still some things that I would like to do different but that will come with time. It helps to have graphics.which I don't hehe. I'm paranoid that I will post some things without permission etc and get in trouble. So any of you graphic geeks out there I would love some to post on my journal lol.

The picture I am including is of my daughter at her birthday party last month. We had it at the bowling ally in our town. It seems to be her favorite place to have her party so we went with the easy way out. Many friends and family came and we all had a good time.

I see that I have some new followers and commenter's thanks so much for coming and joining in. Never did I think I would have my own blog and hold any interest of others lol.

Well, with the holiday comes both my husband and daughter home to drive me crazy but that's ok there are things to do .....like get the Halloween stuff out and put it outside LOL. One can hope right?lol

Hi all. Hope everyone is doing well this evening. I'm doing OK.. same ole same ole lol. The picture I'm posting is of my daughter D. It was taken last Christmas. She just turned 15 and I am feeling older every year she has a birthday. Her birthday lands just four days after mine lol. Not sure what I will do when she is old enough to leave home, depressed is my guess as she is my world lol. She was a big surprise for me and her dad as we had only been together three months or so before she was conceived lol. A good one mind you but a surprise none the less. We didn't marry until she was almost five years old. Not sure why we waited so long lol. I have now been married ten years and with hubby for almost sixteen years. Wow that looks like a lifetime when I type that lol. This being my first blog I am not sure what to say at times lol. I guess I feel weird writing about myself. Hey all. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was good. Not very event full but that isn't always a bad thing lol.

This is my sweet Felix or orange sweet, drooling, stinky..fluffy hair ball. He is very cuddly but beware he drools on a constant basis and sheds all over you. If he could stay in a constant state of hugging you..he would lol. He also loves to dig his nails in as he cuddles. Needless to say, it's always an adventure with Felix. My mom found him on her doorstep in the middle of winter. He was begging to come in and cuddled close to her and worked his way into her heart. She at the time could not keep any more cats so of course she called me lol. I kept it a secret until the new years eve when we went to drop my daughter off to stay with her for the night. D (my daughter) fell in love instantly and to her surprise I told her he would be coming home with us in the new year. I think we have had him at least 3 or 4 years now. He loves to go out in the summer so I keep him out there until our first snow and then he spends the winter inside. I must say without getting into detail he is the most stinky cat I have had in the litter pan department..phhewww. Ok nuff said lol. We love him drool, stink and all lol. In this pic he is hanging out with me on Halloween, getting ready for the trick or treaters. Very cute kitty if I do say so myself.

I keep trying to add things to this blog.. such as a new background or a slideshow but it hasn't been working out. Sooo I try and try untill I get it right..one day. Ok take care all and have a good week.

Hey all. Hope everyone is having a good Saturday. Mine, eh it's ok. I had to take my daughter to her soccer game and then run a few errands. Hey all. I must say I was shocked when I logged on here tonight. Not expecting to see that anyone viewed my blog or joined as a follower etc.

To my surprise ....it was 2 watchers and 3 comments ..whoop lol. I know that I am easily amused he he. All I can say is thank you and that it made my day for sure.

In case you are wondering about the kitty pics I have been posting they are of my cat Mamma. I acquired her about 3ish years ago. She was a stray hanging off my door. It was march and freezing out. I was feeding my one outside cat and there she was waiting for that days chow time lol. Feeling terrible for her I had planned to take her in and soon discovered she was prego lol. That in itself is a story but I will save that one for later. Anyways, she is part of my zoo crew around here. More of them to come in the future with pics included.

Well, that is it for now. Hope I didn't bore you too much with my ramblings. I haven't figured out much on here.
